Trefriw Woollen Mills shop

About

Visit our shop where we sell traditional Welsh bedspreads, travelling rugs and tweeds which are manufactured on site using machinery which is over fifty years old.

Our pure wool fabrics are made into throws, cushion covers, dinner mats, hats, caps and ladies’ clothing.  We also stock a wide selection of pure wool knitwear and accessories plus sheepskin and gifts.

The water powered turbine which generates our electricity can be viewed through windows during shop hours. Outside, the Weaver’s Garden contains plants which supply natural dyes, soap substitutes and moth repellents.

Weaving can be viewed through windows on Thursdays and Fridays, 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
