Llansanffraid Glan Conwy
At the northern end of the valley, this waterfront village enjoys sweeping views across the Conwy Estuary towards Conwy Castle and the Snowdonia mountains. Nearby, you’ll find Hendre Waelod, a Neolithic burial chamber dating back to around 3500BC.
Rowen
Often described as one of the prettiest villages in Wales, Rowen is a postcard setting of cottages, a traditional pub, and a peaceful atmosphere. From here you can walk the old Roman Road into the hills or visit Conwy Water Gardens, home to otters, aquatics and a reptile house.
Eglwysbach & Bodnant
Opposite Rowen sits Eglwysbach, known for its lively annual August agricultural show. Its neighbour, Bodnant Garden, is one of the UK’s most celebrated horticultural attractions and sits close to the popular Bodnant Welsh Food Centre.
Dolgarrog & Tal‑y‑Bont
These two neighbouring villages make excellent bases for walks into the Carneddau mountains and around Llyn Eigiau. Nearby, thrill‑seekers can enjoy Adrenaline Indoors, featuring climbing walls, artificial caving, extreme slides and the UK’s only kicker flight slide.
