About
The Alice in Wonderland town trail, map and souvenir guide is available for purchase from the Tourist Information Centre.
*** Please note that some of the statues along the trail are in need of repair work. And over 60 trees at Happy Valley Gardens were damaged or fell during the gale force winds caused by Storm Arwen. Therefore some parts of the trail which go through the gardens are still closed for safety reasons.
Explore Llandudno, whilst discovering the connections of Alice Liddell (the real Alice in Wonderland) who lived in the resort in the 1860’s .
Starting at the Tourist Information Centre and using the map as your guide, follow 55 bronze cast Rabbit footprints around the trail.
A fun day out with lots of photo opportunities, discover a plethora of Alice in Wonderland sculptures dotted around the town. The tour takes you past the Town Hall, into Madoc Street with curio shops and art galleries onto the Promenade and into the beautiful Happy Valley. Here you can relax, picnic and enjoy a scavenger hunt.
From the Camera Obscura you can gain magnificent views of this amazing Victorian seaside resort and the majestic West Shore where the trail takes you via splendid Haulfre Gardens and to the base of the Great Orme, before finally arriving at the West Shore where Alice had her holiday home “Penmorfa”.
