Royal Oak Hotel

Once a Victorian coaching inn, the Royal Oak is at the heart of the village of Betws-y-Coed. With comfy beds, sumptuous fabrics and furnishings our interior design is influenced by the stunning Eryri landscape which surrounds us. Local artwork and historical artefacts tell the story of the building and the people who’ve stayed here, giving a real sense of place at the Gateway to the Snowdonia National Park.

Modern facilities in a central location with free Wi-Fi throughout and flat screen TVs with Freeview channels in all rooms. A handy desk/dressing table, together with hairdryer, safe, iron and ironing board and tea and coffee making facilities take care of the practicalities.

With three eating venues to choose from, our kitchen teams focus on local, seasonal and fresh produce so there's a choice to suit every taste! Our on-site contemporary village bar has alfresco dining and holds regular music events.

The hotel has its own restaurant that serves wonderful, local food. The hotel is also a great place for functions, from a wedding venue, to a business conference. Are you looking for the perfect birthday gift? Treat your loved one to afternoon tea in this picture perfect hotel.

The hotel has kept its original feel with beautifully decorated rooms. There are many room sizes available and there is even a four-poster bed in the deluxe suite (treat yourself to a special weekend, with Champagne as you arrive!).
