Now you can try your hand at this beloved activity with our collection of over 100 replica brasses. Choose from a variety of captivating designs, including Conwy Castle, Henry VIII, knights in armour, elegant ladies, and iconic figures such as William Shakespeare.

Once you've made your selection, our friendly team will provide everything you need: specialist paper, a choice of metallic waxes, and helpful guidance to get started. Then, it’s your turn to get creative and craft your very own masterpiece to take home the same day! Brass rubbing is a delightful activity for all ages, blending history, art, and mindfulness into an unforgettable experience.

Please note: brass rubbing sessions take place upstairs at Conwy Visitor Centre. This a listed historic building which has no lift so there is currently no wheelchair access. If you would like to take part in the brass rubbing experience but would find climbing the stairs an obstacle please contact me and I will try to find a solution.
