Llanrwst
The Marin Trail is one of the 'musts' of North Wales for any serious mountain biker. The trail is a true classic with big climbs, big descents, singletrack - and fabulous views of the Snowdonia mountains along the way.
This route meanders through the Clocaenog Forest and at 3.5km long (total climb 60m), it's the perfect route for families and beginners.
The Conwy County section of the National Cycle Route 5 takes you along the North Wales coast.
Llandudno Junction
This ride leads across the Conwy estuary via the quiet lanes and villages of the Conwy Valley from Llandudno Junction to Conwy, Rowen, Henryd and back to Llandudno Junction. The route is approximately 14 miles (22.5 km) in length.

Abergele
A circular route of approximately 20km mainly on country lanes, but with some sections on rough roads and off road via woodland paths starting from the Pensarn Beach car park.
Cerrigydrudion
An easy-to-follow, way marked, circular route around the Alwen Reservoir of approximately 7.5 miles (11 km), the Alwen Trail follows forest tracks and paths along the water’s edge and upto the moorland of Mynydd Hiraethog.
Llandudno
A ride of contrasts in around the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno and the Great Orme and on to Deganwy and back. Approximately 15 miles (24 km) long with several steady climbs.
Betws y Coed
A short but strenuous ride of 13 miles (21 km) with magnificent views starting from Betws y Coed and leading through the villages of Llanrhychwyn and Trefriw and on to Llanrwst and returning to Betws y Coed.

The Brenig Trail circumnavigates Llyn Brenig suitable for both family cycling and for walking at 9.5 miles (15 km) long.

This moderately hilly route of 15 miles (24 km) takes the rider through the villages of Betws y Coed, Penmachno, Capel Garmon, passing along the edge of the Fairy Glen gorge with superb mountain views, and finishing where the route starts in Llanrwst
Cyffylliog
A fairly long mountain bike route of 42 km, Up to the Lake is ideal for beginners and intermediates, and for those who prefer something which challenges stamina but is not too taxing technically.
Betws Y Coed
One of the mountain biking highlights of North Wales, the Penmachno Trails consist of two trails - Dolen Machno (19km) and Dolen Eryri (11 km) - which can be ridden either on their own or combined to make a longer 30 km ride.

A scenic route of approximately 10 miles (16 km) from Penmaenmawr to Conwy and back.
