The Erskine Arms

About

The Erskine Arms is a traditional Georgian coaching inn nestled within the medieval walls of Conwy a stone’s throw from King Edward I’s imposing medieval fortress, Conwy Castle.

The Erskine’s slightly austere exterior hides a warm and relaxed interior. With chunky old furniture, rugs and open fires, exactly what you’d want from an old Welsh inn. The building in its current form was created during Victorian times by a combination of an old Georgian Inn and a traditional 17th Century sail-maker’s cottage, not the most natural of bedfellows but they do combine to create an interesting interior of different levels and rooms and architectural styles.
