About

Ever dreamt of taking the trip of a lifetime to a beautiful, exciting country, one that is set to be ‘The Adventure Capital of Europe’?

Imagine whilst you are there, being part of an amazing once in a lifetime adventure; on a sled pulled by a team sled dogs, feeling the adrenaline and energy as the dogs get ready to run and power into their harnesses as they take off. Pulling the sled through winding, frost bitten undulating trails, surrounded by vast forest and as the cool mist breaks and the sun shines through, snow-capped mountains can be seen in the distance.

Well, this doesn’t have to be just a dream! This is reality, right here in North Wales.

Mynydd Sleddog Adventures is Wales' first and only sled dog attraction offering amazing opportunities for individuals, families and groups to enjoy their very own sled dog adventure. Mynydd Sleddog Adventures offers exhilarating husky rides and experiences with our team of racing sled dogs.

With almost 20 years' experience, training and racing sled dogs in the UK and abroad, we pride ourselves on providing exciting adventures with our dogs. Currently operating in South Alwen Forest near Cerrigydrudion, Conwy with the support of NRW, we offer a variety of adventures including:

Meet the Team Adventure - A unique opportunity for individuals, families or groups to immerse themselves in sleddog sports; meet our working sled dogs, interact with them and watch a race team training session through the forest. Followed by a cup of hot chocolate and stories of sleddog sports and racing through history.

Race Team Adventure - An amazing fast paced experience, taking a husky ride on our passenger cart, pulled by a 6-dog team of racing dogs through the beautiful undulating South Alwen Forest trails, surrounded by picturesque open moorland, rolling Welsh hills and the Snowdon range in the distance. Afterwards, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and stories of sleddog sports and racing through history.

Husky Hikes - If you like hiking and love huskies, this is the adventure for you. After a full safety briefing, you will be introduced to your Siberian Husky Hiking Buddy. You'll be kitted out with a Husky Hiking Safety Belt and hitched up to your Buddy. Our wild, nature hikes will take us to some truly untamed and unspoilt landscapes.
