About

The Brenig Trail circumnavigates Llyn Brenig through forest and along the shoreline of the lake. Most of the route runs on off-road tracks with one short section along a B-road and one climb. The route is suitable for both family cycling and for walking at 9.5 miles (15 km) long. The route can also be combined with the Alwen Trail to make a longer route. Start and finish the trail at the Visitor Centre where there is parking, as well as bike hire, toilet facilities and a cafe open March to October.
