Ideas and inspiration

Walking is a popular pastime amongst visitors in North Wales. There are a variety of suggested walks in Llandudno, Conwy and the wider county that are suitable for all abilities. Families can enjoy gentle strolls around Llyn Crafnant or Llyn Brenig since both walks are pushchair friendly. Or for a more challenging route, head up towards Llandudno’s Great Orme and choose from a range of walks around the summit.

For the thrill seekers, head to Zip World Fforest in Betws-y-Coed where you can zip line through the trees on their Zip Safari. There's also the Fforest Coaster toboggan run and the Plummet 2, a pulse-pounding 30m drop through a trapdoor that's the closest thing to freefall this side of an aeroplane.

If you’re looking for mountain bike trails then check out the Llyn Elsi Biking Trail. This is a gentle trail through the forest above Betws-y-Coed which offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Alternatively, test your ability on the Gwydir Mawr Trail! A must for all keen mountain bikers. The singletrack trail includes big climbs and descents, but the panoramic views make the hard work worth it!

Tough at the Top Cycle Route
