Dogs are a massive part of any family and so it’s understandable that over a third of the population plan their holidays around their canine friends. With dog ownership continuing to increase, more and more food and drink providers are adapting by allowing dogs inside and / or outside their premises – with some even offering meals for your beloved pooch! So whether you’re looking for a quick bite to eat before exploring our beautiful county, or you want to refuel after visiting one of our fantastic attractions, we’ll help you find the perfect place to eat in our area.

From traditional seaside cafes and charming pubs, to unique dog parks. Conwy County hosts a wide variety of restaurants and cafes for both you and your beloved pets to enjoy.

To enjoy a bite to eat whilst admiring the history of the Victorian resort of Llandudno, head to the King’s Head pub. It’s the oldest pub in Llandudno and boasts a glorious log fire – perfect for warming up after a brisk winter’s walk.

Alternatively, venture inland and visit Wales’ most photographed tearoom in Llanrwst. Tu Hwnt I’r Bont is an award winning tearoom which is famous for its secret recipe scones. Dogs are welcome in the outside area of the café, so you and your four legged friend can admire the stunning Virginia Creeper which encases the tearoom and transforms in line with the changing seasons.

For the ultimate treat after a hard workout at the dog park, head to Pet Place’s on-site café to refuel. There are treats available for both you and your beloved pooch.
