Walking in Conwy

About

This trail leads across the forest-clad hillsides, passing deep cuttings, capped mine shafts, tunnel entrances and the remains of long-abandoned mills, where generations of miners toiled to extract lead and zinc ore from the hillsides. Start the trail from Hafna in Gwydyr and look out for the information panels and MP3 stations along the way that tell the story of the mines and the men who worked there.
