Sheldon's Bar and Bistro

About

Sheldon’s Bar & Bistro is the new ‘City Bar in the Bay’. Established in October 2018, and situated in the heart of Colwyn Bay. The property was completely stripped out and refitted in a chic and retro style unlike anything else in the area. From the bare brick walls, chandeliers made from old windows and doors hanging from the ceiling, to a unique blend of craft beers, fine wines, cocktails and an extensive menu, Sheldon’s is difficult to compare with any other venue.

Sheldon’s offers a freshly cooked, locally sourced cuisine. Our menu has been curated by our chef, a previous restaurant owner. We pride ourselves on our ‘specials’ which include homemade fishcakes, mackerel pate, fish chowder, leek and brie tart, duck in plum sauce and deep fried brie.

We also offer a wide selection of cheese, meat and vegan platters, salads, paninis and small ‘tapas’ style plates.

Sheldon’s offers a regular ‘Steak Night’ every Thursday where we offer a delicious ‘Edwards of Conwy’ Bistro Steak, chips or a salad and a glass of house wine or beer for £15.00 per head.

We have sourced beers, wines and spirits from as many local businesses as possible to support the local economy. These include, Conwy Brewery, Wild Horse, Polly’s Brew, Tiny Rebel, Purple Moose and Snowdon Craft. We also supply some Welsh spirits including artisan gin from Cariad Gin from Denbighshire.

Sheldon’s offers an extensive range of good quality wine from Tanners Wine Merchants and a tempting cocktail menu for those with both a traditional taste and for those who wish to experience something new and bespoke!

We are open for tea / coffee and cake, welcome business meetings, functions and private parties.

Sheldon’s Live ‘Sunday Sessions’, an open mic night, offers local talent a platform to perform in a relaxed and atmospheric venue.

Our friendly team of staff are committed to provide excellent customer service and ensure our customers enjoy their visit!
