Welcome to
The Groes Inn

The oldest licensed pub in Wales serving delicious seasonal dishes and cask ales.

Nestled within the picturesque landscape of Conwy, North Wales, the Groes Inn stands as a timeless testament to Welsh hospitality. Dating back to the 16th century, this historic inn seamlessly blends tradition with modern comfort, offering a charming, relaxing stay.

Cosy up in one of our many corners with a bite to eat from our seasonal menu or enjoy a pint of traditional JW Lees Bitter beside the crackling fireplace. Our menus are packed full of tasty dishes for you to try, such as our legendary three cheese & onion pie.

We’re the perfect place to visit with your four legged friends after a walk along the local walking routes. We really are the perfect place for a cosy getaway to unwind in Wales. We’re dog friendly at the Groes Inn, because your best friend deserves a holiday too.
